Most readers are enclosed in plexiglass. To gain access, all you need to do is place your wristband close to the "PDK" logo on the bottom of the reader. It will read your wristband via an RFID sensor.

You can request homeowner wristbands for yourself and your immediate family members by completing the Wristband Request Form.
The maximum number of wristbands you can request is equal to the occupancy of your home. Your occupancy is calculated at two wristbands per bedroom, plus four. For example, if you have a four bedroom home, your occupancy is 12.
Homeowners can bring up to two guests in with them into amenities with their wristband.
Immediate family members who can receive a homeowner wristband include the owner, the owner's children, including their sons or daughters in-law; an owner's siblings; and an owner's parents, grandparents and grandchildren.
Homeowner wristbands are active as long as you own the property.
If you would like to keep your 2021 homeowner card for the purposes of receiving discounts at WaterColor retailers/restaurants (who offer discounts), you are welcome to do so. We are currently working on an economical alternative to continue printing homeowner cards that do not have any technology incorporated into the cards.

Homeowner will be issued wristbands once, without charge. A fee of $50 will be assessed for any lost, stolen or misplaced wristbands.
Yes. You can fill out our online form ahead of time on the community website and select the date you would like to have your cards ready for pick up during office hours Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Please allow at least two days for processing your request.
No. Owner wristbands are for use by the owner and the owner's family only, and shall not be used by tenants or invited guests. An owner's access to amenities may be suspended for a violation of this or any other restriction in the Access and Guest Fee Policy.
Guest wristbands are free to homeowners for accompanied guests. The homeowner must personally come to our office to pick up their guests wristbands. Requests for wristbands can be made through the community website.
If you have unaccompanied guests staying in your home, you'll need to fill out a Guest Pass Request Form. You'll also need to pay an amenity fee based on the number of bedrooms you have and the number of nights the guests are staying. A table with the fees can also be found within the Current Schedule of Fees (PDF). Fees can be paid over the phone or in person with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or check.
