Beach Rules & Etiquette

Before visiting WaterColor's private beach, please familiarize yourself with our beach rules and etiquette.

• Do not set up personal beach chairs/blankets in front of designated WaterColor beach chairs.
• No tents above 36" in height are allowed on the beach. Tents this size are typically used for small children.
• Ask for assistance before moving resort umbrellas.
• Leave the beach as you found it. Please pick up all trash and belongings before leaving.
• Do not leave towels on the beach. Please return resort towels to the bin at the top of the stairs. 
• Help protect our wildlife by filling holes dug in the sand before leaving.
• Be mindful of those around you and keep the music volume at a reasonable setting.
• No glass containers are allowed.
• Use the Universal Boardwalk on the west side of the club if you plan to bring a cooler to the beach. You will not be able to walk through the Beach Club with a cooler.
• Professional beach lifeguard service is offered daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., March 1st to October 31st annually.
• When there are no lifeguards on duty, swim at your own risk.
• Beachgoers are encouraged to stay informed, follow posted safety guidelines, and remain aware of the South Walton beach flag system. Text "SAFETY" to 31279 to receive daily text updates about beach conditions.
